              VND0 supermarket allows Da Nang students to overcome COVID-19

              VOV.VN - A range of VND0 supermarkets have been deployed throughout the central city of Da Nang as part of a scheme aimed at helping students cope with difficult circumstances, in addition to serving those affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.

              The Da Nang Economic Planning College, the Da Nang Architecture University, and the University of Economics - University of Danang each host the programme which is held from August 27 to August 28, and again from August 31 to September 1 Students have their body temperature recorded and thoroughly wash their hands with sanitizer before being permitted to enter the VND0 supermarket. When entering the supermarket customers are required to bring their student ID cards. A diverse range of items are on offer at the VND0 supermarket, including essential items such as medical supplies, food, fruit, and vegetables. Each student is able to choose a maximum of four products from the supermarket. Volunteers sort an array of goods before welcoming students and inviting them to select their items All volunteers have been equipped with drop-proof face masks and gloves in line with relevant COVID-19 prevention measures The VND500 million funding provided for the VND0 supermarket has been mobilised from various sources, including the Vietnam Students' Association Central Committee, the Youth Union of Da Nang, and the Vietnam Student Association of Da Nang The Vietnam Student Association of Da Nang presents gifts to students who are facing difficult circumstances
