By August 19 no one in residential group No. 6 in Nghia Xa ward had shown virus symptoms such as a cough or a fever, according to Nguyen Thi Chinh, head of the group.
Security forces check every tourist before they are permitted to board the ferry to travel to Cat Ba island.
People coming from COVID-19-hit localities are required to return to their hometown.
