              VOV.VN - Local people are continuing to ignore social distancing measures put in place in numerous restaurants and coffee shops throughout the capital, despite the complicated nature of developments surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.

              Despite local authorities and police forces requesting that shop owners strictly comply with relevant regulations imposed by the administration of Hanoi, plenty of people still gather in large crowds amid COVID-19 fears. Iced tea stalls based on the pavement are packed with young people at night. Customers at an ice cream store encroach on the sidewalk. Customers at a coffee shop sit roadside. Despite being in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, no one can be seen following the one-metre social distance rule. Plenty of crowds gather on Duy Tan street in Dich Vong Hau ward, with many failing to wear face masks whilst not keeping a one-metre distance from others. The view of an iced tea stall on the pavement of O Cho Dua street in Dong Da district Local people are packed closely together on Chua Lang street in Lang Thuong ward. Plenty of the capital’s citizens remain apathetic about the rules despite the nation facing a range of complicated developments caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.
